Luxury & the Beauty of the Throwaway
Exploring depth, light, and story through still life

Three inspired lessons for each theme:

• Luxury – Rich textures, shining objects, indulgent compositions

• The Beauty of the Throwaway – Crumpled paper, packaging, overlooked treasures

Class Dates

• September: Monday 1st and Monday 15th

• October: Monday 20th and Monday 27th

• November: Monday 3rd and Monday 17th

Class Format

Each session runs as a morning still life class, where we paint directly from observation. There's something magical about painting from life — the light, the colour, the presence of the object — it brings a whole new energy into your work!

Limited Places

To keep the sessions relaxed and personal, only 5 places are available per class. This means you'll get plenty of guidance and space to develop your skills in a supportive environment.

Exhibition Opportunity

Depending on interest and energy, we may hold a small end-of-term exhibition in late November to celebrate the season’s work. Past exhibitions have been joyful, communal experiences — a beautiful way to honour your creative growth and connect with others.
